Click the Windows button.
Type password.

3. HP Computing Support: You are very welcome. Note however that document I gave had a symptom for when the computer starts but the display is still black. It may help if you get back to testing the system. However, as you already tried three displays and a different graphics adapter, it is pretty likely that the issue is with the motherboard.
4. Film Theory 101: HELP PLEASE! After upgrading to Windows 10 there is no signal to monitor in an HP Envy h8-1430. I tried: 1-Change the cable. 2-Use one of the monitors that I have in my editing room. 3-Changing the graphic card. 4-Plus all the usual stuff (using anti-static strap, powering off, F8 on start, etc, etc, etc). Nothing solves the problem. The PC turns on, but neither VGA nor HDMI signal is sent to the monitor.

My computer does start, but it doesn't send signal to the monitor (we already tried with 3 different HP monitors). So we made the decision of buying a new computer and extract the information from the hard drive. Thank you so much.
